OCZ  has launched its Vertex 4 SATA III SSD series in India, featuring the company’s advanced Indilinx Everest 2 controller platform. According to OCZ, the fourth-generation SSD Vertex 4 delivers the industry’s highest input/output operations per second (IOPS) performance for SATA-based drives. Bharti Airtel to launch 4G services in Kolkata tomorrow

Airtel is likely to launch Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) services based on 4G technology in Kolkata tomorrow. According to reports, Union minister Kapil Sibal is going to inaugurate the 4G services in the city.
"The company has requested Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal to launch the service. He is expected to be there tomorrow," TOI quotes a source as saying.

Research in Motion (RIM) recently cut prices of its select devices including the PlayBook tablet, BlackBerry Curve 8520, Curve 9380, Curve 9360 and the Torch 9860. HTC has officially launched the HTC One X and One V in India, giving them MRPs of Rs. 42,999 and Rs. 19,999 respectively, though, MOPs are expected to be at roughly Rs. 37,899 and Rs. 18,299.

Samsung has slashed price of its  Galaxy Tab 680 (7.7) tablet by Rs. 6,000. The device, launched in February this year, is now selling for Rs. 28,500 at online retail store, Flipkart. Vodafone India has listed the Samsung Galaxy Tab 680 (7.7) at Rs. 26,149.
