RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 (T-Mobile) : Hits and Misses!

BlackBerry phones are undoubtedly smart phones in the market and most of the models can perform daunting task of telecommunication and modern day needs entertainment.
The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 (T-Mobile) is no exception. This is a wonderful Blackberry model which has some very good features in it. The phone is no doubt a masterpiece for its available facilities and attributes; but for such a quality phone few other features is a must in it. The phone has some cons and perhaps these cons may prevent many prospect buyers from getting this phone.
Cons: The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 (T-Mobile) lacks 3G which is today’s prime need for business and executive class people as well as for gizmo freaks. Missing such a feature is not a good deal for this phone. The phone also lacks in quality storage especially internal storage capacity of the phone is not competitive. Even the camera of the phone needed some improvement. Photography enthusiasts who now gets 5MP lens even in cheapest models may feel little reluctant to pick 3.15 MP. The call quality could have been better in this phone though UMA helps to some extent.
Curve 8900 also lacks FM radio in it which is a must for students and music lovers to stay tuned to latest blockbusters. Leaving these disadvantages, the phone has some remarkable features in it.
Pros: The Pros lists of the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 (T-Mobile) starts now – it is indeed the slimmest full QWERTY BlackBerry available in the market. The phone has slick design and high density pixel screen with great messaging and communication support.
Design of the Phone: In terms of design the phone Curve 8900 may be a step down from BlackBerry Bold, but the styling and having complete QWERTY keypad is its USP. The designing team had taken a lot of care to create this phone. The compact and sharp BlackBerry Curve 8900 predicts business and oozes with class. This is undoubtedly the hottest looker of the Curve line.
Calling/messaging/multimedia: The phone commands much respect for its portfolio and functionality upgrade over its predecessors. The call quality of the phone is quite good and the UMA capabilities make it more enthralling. The features like instant messaging, email, SMS, MMS, 2.4″ 65K-color TFT landscape display, Quad-band GSM support, trackball navigation, Wi-Fi, Built in GPS, BlackBerry Maps, 256 MB RAM, 512 MHz CPU, XviD video and lot more make this phone a superb functional phone.
